     Keiko Kitagawa was scouted by a talent agency and became a model and an actress.  She was an exclusive model for Japanese Seventeen magazine for three years before leaving the modeling industry.  Keiko began her acting career when she played as Rei Hino (Sailor Mars) in the highly popular drama, Sailor Moon. Her notable movies includes Mamiya Kyodai and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.  

     Keiko Kitagawa went through a tough time in her life when she lost many friends during the Great Hanshin earthquake in 1995.  She was lost and confused at one point when she realized that she can not achieve her childhood dream of becoming a doctor.  She lost one dream but pursued an even bigger one.  Keiko left modeling to concentrate on acting and is now one of Japan's top actresses.
