     Lee Ji Eun is a South Korean singer and is better known by her stage name as IU.  She made her debut in September 2008 and became an instant hit when she released her debut album on April 16, 2009 titled Growing Up.  She would follow up her accomplishments with an even more successful second album called Last Fantasy which released on November 29, 2011.  IU has produced hit singles such as Boo, You and I, Good Day, Nagging and Peach.  IU starred in her first Korean drama in 2011 when she played as Kim Pil Sook in Dream High.

    IU is one of South Korea's most beloved celebrities.  She is known as the "Nation's Little Sister" because of her adorable and cute personality.   She has landed some huge endorsement deals from SK Telecom, S-Oil, Home Plus and Samsung.  IU was chosen to be the ambassador for Yeosu Expo Korea 2012.  It is no surprised to see IU as one of the top singers because she has an incredible singing voice, great personality and is adorably cute.  Since 2010, she has received numerous awards and has been every billboards and posters in all of South Korea.  There is no slowing down for this girl, she is destined to be one of the greatest all time.

Krystal Jung

Name: Krystal Jung, Jung Soo Jung (정수정, 鄭秀晶)

     Krystal Jung was only five years old when she was discovered by a big talent agency SM Entertainment during her family trip to South Korea.  She was given singing and dancing lessons and began appearing in commercials and music videos by the time she was only seven years old.  Through all the years of training, Krystal finally debuted in 2009 in the five girl band called f(x).  Her sister Jessica Jung was offered a contract at a young age and she is now a member of Girls Generation.  Krystal had attended Korea Kent Foreign School and is now attending Hanlim Multi Art School.

     Krystal Jung is the youngest member of f(x) and is one of the more popular girls in the group.  It is amazing how well she can sing and dance at such a young age.  She is a beautiful and talented girl with so much potential to be even greater than she is now.  Krystal has all the qualities to become a successful solo artist if she ever decides to choose that path.  She has done endorsement deals with big name companies such as Lotte, K-Swiss, LG, and Calvin Klein.

The heat of CJ Super Race 2012 Round 1 has gone cold now that the event is practically over and a new one will surely grab the attention of Korean media soon.      Wang Fei Fei is a Chinese born singer and is currently a member of the South Korean band called miss A.  She serves as the main vocalist and the main dancer for the group.  Before joining the band, Fei was part of the Chinese band called Sisters but was unsuccessful and was disbanded.  Fei studied at Seoul Institute of the Arts and has mastered the Korean language during her three years of training prior to miss A's debut.


     Fei is the oldest member and is often looked upon as a motherly figure to her younger band mates.  She is a beautiful and talented artist with great vocals and stunning eyes.  Fei is a huge fan favorite in South Korea and she is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean.  It is rare for a Chinese born singer to have a singing career in South Korea but with Fei's talents and beauty, she did it with ease.

Kim Yuna

     Kim Yuna is a successful South Korean figure skater.  She began skating when she was 7 years old and at that time, her coach predicted that she would become a world class figure skater someday.  She has been crowned as the champion numerous times in her career but her most notable win was when she won gold at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics in the Ladies' Singles.  Yuna holds the world record with a 150.06 score in the free skate, 78.50 in the short program, and a 228.56 combined score.  Throughout her career, Yuna has taken home at least a bronze medal in all the competitions that she had participated.


     Kim Yuna is one of South Korea's most beloved and popular figure.  Her international fame skyrocketed after capturing the gold medal in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.  Yuna is endorsed by many companies such as Kookmin Bank, Nike, Korean Air, Hyundai Motor Company, and Anycall.  Forbes listed her as one of the highest paid female athlete in 2010 with projected earnings of $9.7 million and TIME magazine named her as one of the world's most influential people in 2010.  She has been the face of women's figure skating for awhile but Yuna will sit out the entire 2011-2012 season.

Suzy

Name: Suzy Bae, Bae Soo Ji (배수지, 裴秀智)

     Suzy Bae serves as one of the four members in the South Korean girl band call miss A.  She is the youngest member in the group and is the lead vocalist. Suzy and her other band members took one year to train before making their debut in 2010.  Suzy was an online shopping mall model and has attend Seoul Performing Arts High School before becoming a singer.  She made her acting debut in the 2011 drama called Dream High and in the 2011 Korea Drama Awards, she was award as the Best Rookie Actress.  


     Suzy is slowly becoming a sensation in South Korea.  At such a young age and with less than two years in the entertainment industry, she is doing exceptionally well in her singing and acting career.  She has a beautiful singing voice with an adorable face.  Her first drama was a huge success so there will be a second part to the drama and it will be called Dream High 2.  Suzy will hope to share the same success on the the big screen as she makes her first movie appearance in the 2012 movie call Introduction to Architecture.
