     Gigi Lai began her career as a singer but it was her acting that has skyrocketed her to popularity.  She has won the Most Popular Actress Award at the 2004 TVB Anniversary Awards for her role in War and Beauty.  Gigi has retired in October 2008 from the entertainment business.  She is widely known as the Goddess of Beauty in Hong Kong.

     Gigi's father was deaf and her family went bankrupt and she was forced to work at the age of 14.  She worked to support her family and her brother's education in England.  Her early struggles are truly inspirational and proves that hard work and determination will eventually pay off.  Gigi is an excellent actress with a pretty face and a nice figure.
